Habitat Building History project
The latest collaborative research is the “Habitat Building History” project.
Habitat Building History (HBH) is an attempt to develop the historical frame of the “Building Mode” and to foresee the possible future of Habitat Building.
This project to ask following themes:
-How have human beings reconstructed the earth, a structure that keeps building itself autonomously, as a Habitat, an environment for themselves to live in?
- How should we design our environment while knowing the above?
It is planned to publish a special issue twice a year over six years for a total of twelve issues from 2020 to 2026.
This publication aim to introduce the key aspects structuring the history of building habitat that will help us examine the coming “Building Mode 4″. The main aspects of the website will be provided in both Japanese and English.
